This project consisted of the renovation and expansion of 410 sq.ft..Cardiac Short Stay Unit located on the third floor of the Diagnostic and Treatment Building at the Royal Jubilee Hospital. The project included mechanical, electrical and architectural upgrades. Kinetic also assisted the client with the coordination of specialized medical equipment installation as well as furnishings within the unit. 

As a renovation and expansion of a critical recovery and treatment area in an operational hospital, the space was occupied and needed to remain operational during construction. Careful coordination of safety, hoarding installations that complied with infection control protocols as well as clear and constant communication with diverse project stakeholders were essential to the successful execution of the project. Leading the Kinetic project team, Eric Lindokken, Project Manager, and Sean Thomas, Site Superintendent, provided that approach and successfully delivered the project on time and meeting the expectations of the client and its various stakeholders.
